The G20 Seoul Development Consensus:
Analysis, Evaluation, Legitimacy
This event is jointly organized by the Ghent Institute for International Studies and the Leuven Centre for Global Governance Studies in the framework of the Scientific Research Network on the G20 funded by the Research Foundation Flanders.
In the wake of the G20 leaders’ summit in Brisbane, this seminar takes stock of the G20’s work on development. It brings together experts to analyze and evaluate the G20 Seoul Consensus on Development, to discuss its role in the existing global development architecture and to address the question of legitimacy.
Speakers include John Ruthrauff (InterAction), prof. John Kirton (University of Toronto), prof. Fahim Quadir (York University) and Wonhyuk Lim (Korean Development Institute), among others.
Participation is free of charge, but as places are limited, registration is required with peter.debaere@ugent.be. Seats will be accorded on a first come, first serve basis.
