This international workshop at Ghent University is co-organized by the Centre for the Social Study of Migration and Refugees (CESSMIR), the Ghent Centre for Global Studies, the Department of Social Work and Social Pedagogy, as well as the Journal of Diversity and Gender Studies (DiGeST) and the Centre for Sociological Research (CeSO, KU Leuven).
The keynote speakers are prof. Elena Fiddian-Qasmiyeh (University College London) and prof. Jane Freedman (Paris 8 University). After the workshop, selected participants will be invited to contribute to a special issue on the same topic in the Journal of Diversity and Gender Studies (DiGeST).
